Hey Fans of The Comedy Igloo:

As you know, we haven’t had a Comedy Igloo show in awhile. Here’s why:

For the past year-and-a-half, I’ve been performing and writing with a fantastic political satire group called Shoot the Messenger on our show, Wake Up World. The show stars and was created by Lizz Winstead (she co-created The Daily Show) and the concept is that it’s America’s worst morning program on America’s worst news network. We’ve had some great guests on the show, including Michael Stipe, Sarah Silverman, Roseanne, Susie Essman, Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara, Ed Begley, Jr., and Rachel Maddow. Most recently, we wrote and shot a pilot episode and took the show to Los Angeles for sold-out shows. I’m not allowed to say very much, but I can tell you that the response from the industry has been overwhelmingly good. As in, beyond anyone’s wildest expectations. Keep your fingers crossed!

It’s been a total blast, a lot of hard work, and it’s left a little less time for Jacques and his (p)leather pants (trust me… he’s furious… and that’s just not a pretty sight…).
