As you know, we haven’t had a Comedy Igloo show in awhile. Here’s why:

I’ve been working incredibly hard on my sketch show, The Sophisticates, and things have been going extremely, extremely well. You should definitely check us out! Here’s our website and our YouTube channel.

Also, I’ve been performing and writing with a fantastic political satire group called Shoot the Messenger on our show, Wake Up World. The show stars and was created by Lizz Winstead (she co-created The Daily Show) and the concept is that it’s America’s worst morning program on America’s worst news network. We’ve had some great guests on the show, including Michael Stipe, Sarah Silverman, Roseanne, Susie Essman, Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara, Ed Begley, Jr., and Rachel Maddow. It’s been a total blast, a lot of hard work, and it’s left a little less time for Jacques and his (p)leather pants (trust me… he’s furious… and that’s just not a pretty sight…).
